Situated high on the mountainside of Stanford and boasting panoramic views of the beautiful surrounding farm lands, Stanford Mountain Reserve Manor House is the ideal family getaway.

 The five-bedroomed house comfortably sleeps up to 11 guests.

The house comprises a large open-plan kitchen with fridge, freezer, gas stove, microwave and dishwasher, and a living area with two seating areas and an eating area.

The unit is equipped with a flat screen TV, kid’s TV, and DStv is available with guests' own smart card.

In addition, there are two bathrooms with baths and outdoor showers, two separate toilets, and an outside barbecue area.

The house is serviced weekly, however daily servicing can be arranged at an additional charge.

 Unfortunately laundry needs to be taken in to the local laundrette in Stanford, due to the discolouration from the mountain water.

  This house is a nature lover’s paradise, where guests can walk along the mountain paths and spot bird, plant and animal life, hike up the mountain to the cave, explore the beautiful fynbos flowers, swim and fish in the dam, or just relax on the wooden deck and take in the sights.

 There are also an abundance of child-friendly activities in the area, such as the Klein River Cheese Farm, Madre’s Kitchen, horse riding and quad bike trails, as well as fun for mom and dad at the many local wine farms, the Birkenhead Brewery and Art Gallery, antique shops, and Hennie’s Pub in the centre of Stanford.
