Chelaya Country Lodge is your own private, fully-staffed villa.

No matter how many in your group, the entire house is yours for the duration of your holiday.

This includes exclusive use of the leafy garden with tranquil lily ponds and an infinity swimming pool overlooking False Bay and the Cape Peninsula.

Shaded spots under the trees for picnics and secret corners where you can take time out and enjoy the birdlife add to the luxurious feel of this beautiful house.

The lounge area has a huge fireplace for cold winter evenings, a library with writing desk, a well-stocked pub with a corner fireplace and television nook, and a spacious, farm-style kitchen.

The bar is staffed during the day but becomes an honesty bar in the later hours.

Light meals, picnics and poolside snacks are available throughout the day.

A well-trained and friendly group of staff are there to make up and turn down the rooms, do the washing up, clean the house, light the fires and to make sure you have everything you require.

In the garden you will find discreetly placed staff to maintain the pool and ensure that umbrellas, towels and loungers are provided when the sun is shining.

Chelaya offers first-class English and continental breakfasts, as well as the opportunity to choose between a light lunch prepared for you or doing your own thing in the spacious kitchen.

At night you may choose to self-cater, perhaps with a traditional braai or by whisking up your own family favourite.

You can, of course, dine at one of the many excellent restaurants in the area.
