Bakkerskloof Cottage is a newly renovated self-catering accommodation situated in the heart of a quiet, green leafy area of Somerset West.

The cottage faces the Helderberg and surrounding mountains, and is central to the village, shopping malls and restaurants, as well as being in close proximity to some of the finest golf courses in South Africa.

The cottage features a modern open-plan living and dining room area which opens up onto a large wooden deck, facing Helderberg Mountain, ideal for sundowners or just relaxing.

A modern well-equipped kitchen overlooks the flower garden, and a shady outdoor barbecue area with adequate entertainment space.

There is one large main bedroom with twin beds, as well as a smaller romantic bedroom leading out onto a beautiful lavender garden with a fountain pond.

The spacious, modern bathroom comprises a large shower, twin hand basins and toilet, and there is also another separate guest toilet.

Somerset West is located 30 minutes from Cape Town, surrounded by the Hottentots Holland mountains and close to the historical town of Stellenbosch and wine estates.

It is an ideal place to enjoy country living and still be close to wonderful white sandy beaches, mountains, winelands, and shopping centres.

It is also along the coastal route to Hermanus, which is famous for whale watching.
