The Beach Lodge description:This seaside Edwardian building has a 20m balcony overlooking the beach and the whole of False Bay - perfect for whale viewing.
The Lodge offers spacious single, double, twin, family and dorm rooms at very affordable rates - fresh linen and towels are provided.
The sea-view dining area, a self-service kitchen, 4 communal showers on 2 floors, a pool table and a quiet sea-view reading lounge are available to guests - plus the white, sandy beach and rolling surf on our doorstep! Muizenberg's Blue Flag beach is famous for safe bathing and there are several surf schools on the block.
Restaurants, shops, banks and the railway station are just a stroll away.
A popular walk along the sea-wall leads to more beaches and vibey villages further down the coastline.
Many historic buildings from our rich colonial past are in the neighbourhood.
The nearby yacht club and the wetlands sanctuary offer additional recreational opportunities.
