Le Océan Bleu
Le Océan Bleu description:Below the house, the might of the Atlantic Ocean crashes onto the rocks and coves dotted along the coastline.
This unique combination inspires visitors and residents alike to preserve its beauty and character.
Llandudno Bay is part of a marine national park and the beach is the best in Cape Town.
Its turquoise water and expanse of fine white sand moves in winter during the storms, fortunately reappearing in summer when the southeasters prevail.
The water in the summer months is possibly the coldest in Africa, but winter temperatures are often a few degrees warmer.
Most of the year the waves provide excellent surf.
The Humpback, Bryde’s and Southern Right whales are the most common off our shores, but keep your eyes peeled for other species.
Schools of dolphins frolic offshore and in the bay, the Dusky, Bottle Nose, Common and Heavyside dolphins amongst the most popular.
For the sporting and outdoor enthusiast who is looking to participate socially in the community there is the Llandudno Surf Lifesaving Club, an essential service to the community, which consists of Nippers, juniors and seniors ranging from 9 years old to not so young.
